The Friendship Highway is a celebrated route in the Tibetan Plateau, renowned for its scenic wonders. The highway itself starts from Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, passing the turquoise Yamdrok Lake lake, before connecting to Shigatse, the home of the Panchen Lama, via Gyantse. The road forks after this, with one branch heading west to the city of Ali. The other branch continues south, past Shegar, New Shegar, and to Rongphu Monastery near Everest Base Camp. From here the road continues on to the Nepali border at Zhangmu, and Kathmandu.
The scenery on the highway features inspired vistas of the snow-capped Himalayas, vast grasslands and meadows, and other unforgettable sights. The road is also important to pilgrims who make their way from all around Tibet to the spiritual center in Lhasa (Wikipedia).

Kang Shang valley is one of the most remote trekking destinations in central Tibet. The valley absolutely roars with the summer monsoon, the snow that accumulates daily on the peaks starts rumbling about noon and continues to fall noisily throughout the most nights.
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa.
Day 04-05 : Sightseeing tour of Lhasa.
Day 06 : Excursion to Ganden Monastery.
Day 07 : Drive to Gyantse via Shalu monastery.
Day 08 : Sightseeing in shigatse.
Day 09 : Drive to Yuba.
Day 10 : Begin Trekking to DhampuTo begin our trekking adventure we will walk along the banks of the Kharta river. We will follow the upper trail which leads to the Shao La. Overnight camp will be made in the welcoming village of Lundrubling.
Day 11 : Trek over Sheop-La Joksom.Finally Everest will come into view as we climb the Shao La pass! Our climb will once again be rewarded with unparalleled views stretching all the way to Nepal. A string of alpine lakes and Yak herder communities will be passed as well. The day will end with clear views of the Kangshung face of Mt. Everest.
Day 12 : Trek to Damshung. Camp will be made in one of the meadows of Pethang Ringmo.
Day 13 : Trek to Path and Ringmo. While cowering under the Kangshung face the impressive yet less daunting North East ridge can also be seen.
Day 14 : Kangshung Glacier/Tso-Nya/Tseju. The well defined trail leads us down another valley and then diverts North to Langma La. Gradually and comfortably we pass through a string of yak pastures on the way to the pass. Makalu can be seen nearly the entire trip.
Day 15 : Trek to Zurima. We will begin the day with a challenging ascent and descent of the Langma La pass. Even more views of Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu surround us. Towards the end of the day we gain views as far as the Nepal-Sikkim border, home to the Kangchenjunga massif. Camp is made once more in the wondrous surrounding of Yubra.
Day 16 : Langma La to Khatra river.
Day 17 : Retrace to Yuba.
Day 18 : We drive to Rongbuk en visit the highest monastery in Tibet.
Day 19 : Trail to Everest Base Camp en night over in Rongbuk monastery.
Day 20 : Drive to Zhangmu.
Day 21 : Drive back to Kathmandu in Nepal.
Day 22 : Sightseeing in Bakthapur en night in Nagarkot.
Day 23 : Mt Everest scenery from Nepalese side. Then sightseeing in Patan. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 24 : Transfer to international airport.
Day 25/26: Nepal-India-Switzerland-Belgium
